Who doesn’t love ice cream? I mean – hello?! Creamy, smooth, sweet and delicious. BUT did you know that just a cup of ice cream can contain as much sugar as a can of coke? How can that be ANY good for you?
My love for this cool and creamy deliciousness doesn’t have to go away – instead I discovered a WAAAAY better option – BANANA ICE CREAM! It`s dairy free, no added nasties and takes only 3 ingredients to make. I think I can definitely find some space for this in my diet.
Frozen bananas are really the secret to this magic dessert. I love to keep them out until they get completely covered in spots as that’s when they are the sweetest. You will also need a high speed blender to process the frozen banana.

- 4 very ripe bananas
- ½ cup cashew milk
- ½ cup raw cocoa powder
- Favorite toppings
- Peel the banana and slice in 2 inch cubes, place on a plate and freeze for 1 hour or until solid
- Place banana, cashew milk and cocoa powder in a high speed blender and process until smooth and even
- Scoop the mixture into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings
